about

The Eccentric is Alex Leonhart’s debut album. It was self-produced and recorded at Mr. Studio in Lancaster, Pa. All of the songs are original and performed by Alex. While almost all the instruments were played by Alex, she had a different drummer for each song.
The music is concocted by many standard instruments but also hosts occasionally slightly more unusual items such as rubber chickens, plumbing pipes, and typewriters. Lyrically, The Eccentric is sung to you in occasional loquacious sesquipedalia using theatrical slang and snapshots of diner conversation.
